On his eightieth birthday (2016), Ernst Erb walked from the Lucerne train station to Zurich Central Station — 55 km in total. Later, he hiked to the top of Mount Pilatus — a 1600 m difference in elevation. Neither of these are all too remarkable achievements when you are young and fit, Ernst says.
But his goal was to show that eating a whole foods vegan diet can allow you to do amazing things, no matter how old you are or how many long days you spend in front of the computer.
The best way to maintain your physical and mental health is to eat a natural, plant-based diet and get physical activity.
