The nice packages picturing cows happily grazing on green grassy hills together with their claves, have nothing in common with the reality in massive factory farms or even in organic farms.
Artificial inseminated cows, lactating for a period of 10 month after giving birth and then inseminated again, calves taken away from their mothers and slaughtered for meat production, mastitis, disease, lameness – all this cruelty and suffering to create an unhealthy product, demonstrated to increase people’s chances of developing heart disease, diabetes, cancer and osteoporosis.
